SnackBrake ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SnackBrake mobile application.
Information We Collect
- Account information: Email address and encrypted password when you create an account.
- Snack & nutrition data: Snack logs, cravings, interventions, and coaching conversations you enter into the app.
- Device information: Push notification tokens (only if you enable notifications).
- Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize the SnackBrake coaching experience.
- To generate AI-powered snack insights and recommendations.
- To send coaching notifications (only if enabled).
- To manage your subscription and account.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-Party Services
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Your snack data may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate coaching responses. Anthropic does not use API inputs for training.
- RevenueCat: Manages subscription status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple: In-app purchases are processed by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention & Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.
Children's Privacy
SnackBrake is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
